Excellent article David, and shockingly illustrated by today’s NYT article about traffic stops motivated by the need to impose fines, sometimes with tragic consequences.
The federal government has been underfunding our National Parks for years....leading to broken facilities, maintenance backlogs, closed bathrooms and damaged trails and signs......now we know another reason why park visiting entrance fees are so high, because the wealthy don’t pay their fair share of taxes to fund our National Parks!
